Lucas Goldner
Brazilian jiu-jitsu athlete. The mat is where I embody the values I live by: discipline, hardship, self-discovery and consistency.
Representing Panama on the IBJJF circuit and chasing gold at all four majors.
Every roll, every drill, every match is a step toward the next belt. This is where my journey, my results, and my story live.

My story
When I was three years old, my mom enrolled my brothers and me in a small martial arts academy. We trained there together, and I haven't looked back since.
Later in life I met my coach, David Beluche. With the help of my father and David, I went on to win multiple NAGA championships and reach the podium at the IBJJF. David is still my coach today, and I am still driven to reach new horizons in the sport, ones no Panamanian athlete has reached before.
What sets me apart
My passion for the sport and my consistency, day in and day out, while balancing my training with my university studies.
Learning from the best
I have also trained with many of the top legends of the sport, including Lucas Lepri, Gordon Ryan, John Danaher and Tanner Rice.
Head coach
David Beluche
Black belt and Panamanian coach David Beluche has guided Lucas for more than a decade and has been the catalyst behind his NAGA championships and IBJJF podiums. He still competes at the highest level himself.
